Read all instructions prior to cutting fabrics

TRIANGLES

Using the fabric you selected for the center triangles, cut 3½" strips, width of fabric.  Place the triangle template (bottom side toward you) on the strip and cut 1 triangle. Flip the template (flat-top toward you) laying the left side of the template along the cut side and cut again. Keep flip-flopping the triangle template until you cut all center triangles.

TRAPEZOIDS

Cut 2½" strips, by width of fabric (or purchase a jellyroll). Place the trapezoid template (bottom side toward you) on the strip near the selvage and cut 1 trapezoid. Flip the template (flat-top toward you) laying the left side/line of the template along the cut side and cut again. Keep flip-flopping the trapezoid template until you cut an equal amount of each of the trapezoid pieces A, B, and C.

ASSEMBLY

Chain piece all "A" pieces (shortest trapezoid) to the bottom of all the center triangles. Remove from sewing machine and cut all triangles apart. Press seams away from the center. Stack all triangles (with "A" pieces stacked on top of each other) and return to sewing machine.

Turn entire stack one turn. Stitch all of the "B" pieces (medium trapezoid) to the triangle. Press and stack.

Chain stitch all "C" pieces (longest trapezoid) to the remaining side. Press seams away from the center.

Place finished triangles in rows…triangle point up, triangle point down, triangle point up ... etc., and sew together.
